For our first wedding anniversary (Aug 2021), we planned a trip up the gulf coast to New Orleans. Knowing our luck, our trip was kneecapped by nature - Hurricane Ida was positioned to come through on our last day of our trip, so we spent 2 of the 3 days we had planned for NOLA on the road back home. We still were able to spend most of a day exploring the beautiful French Quarter, not deterred by the rain.
